Modern Pacific Beach Retreat w/ Hot Tub & Views

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great - it was convenient to everything.

Cool spot, great views

The living room / kitchen area was good to hang out in (the view of Mission Bay was nice), the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were awkward. The 2nd bedroom had a queen with a bunk bed above it. I feel this setup should have been put in the very awkward 3rd (basement-type) bedroom which required access through the guest bathroom (absurdly awkward). Several standards did not work such as the dishwasher (tried pushing all of the five buttons to get it going...couldn't, all printing is rubbed off of them; I washed all dishes by hand) and the TV remote (I had to buy and replace the spent batteries). The housekeeping was a little lax; there was one roll of toilet paper provided in the guest bath, none in the master bath, nor anywhere else in the house (we had to buy TP); and many of the dishes had been shelved wet.We have rented many MANY homes through Vrbo, and usually there is a renter's general info folder left out, nothing like that. Aside from the above mentioned inconveniences, these owners could spend a little money to update the carpeting (really cheap and old), the window treatments (ancient vertical blinds all over that had missing or broken strands, several fell off on us). The broken master bedroom strands we discovered were being piled up by previous renters in a closet. The living room sliding screen door to the view deck is absurdly flimsy and difficult to slide.I might've given this rental a single star, but I was busy and wasn't in it that much. luckily.

The neighborhood was beautiful and we loved the view.

Beautiful home, great location, great view! Loved it. Only downside is that they take the quiet hours very seriously and a neighbor made a noise complaint while just having a conversation in the hot tub with our teenage boys at like 9:30 pm. Other than that loved everything and would highly recommend.
